Who's room is messiest?

Aubrey's room

To be fair, some of the stuff on the top of the piano is Alyssa's.

Their rooms don't usually look like this - Aubrey's usually looks like Alyssa's and Alyssa's usually in very good order - they're rubbing off on each other.

Visit from The Dalling family

As the saying goes "better late than never"

Brian, Susan and their family came to visit Texas in April. Fossil Rim, Ft. Worth Stockyards, a cattle drive, shopping, dinner, one very lame rodeo, and lots of rest and relaxation were some of their highlights.

Regional Young Women's Basketball Champs

Our ward finally did it!!! We are not only the Stake Champs, but the Region Champs as well.
3rd time is the charm (4th if you count the year we won Stake but didn't show up to Regions because the girls "just didn't feel like it")!!

Top Row:
Sis. Price (1st Ward), Nikole, Alyssa, Sis. Hawthorn,
Front Row:
Kendal (1st Ward), Morgan (1st Ward), Danielle and Christie
Our ward was mixed with the 1st Ward because the 1st Ward doesn't have enough girls in the YW to form a team. Alyssa & Nikole came out with all but 10 points in all the games combined. We also came out of the torney with some stories (both fun and not so fun) - just ask.

PESH Basketball Banquet

Alyssa & Nikole
Alyssa, Coach Robinson & Nikole
Megan & Alyssa
Shannon & Alyssa
Shannon, Megan, Alyssa, Nikole & Jackie

JV team

JV & Varsity Girls

The Cake - guess which piece I got!

For any parents who may have to attend one of the banquets in the future - word of warning - they are very boring!!! Sit where you can sneak out easily. When the invite says "dressy casual" they mean dressy for the girls and casual for the parents.

Spring Break

Hey why spend money on spring break when the teenagers can enjoy the neighborhood park.

Mormon Prom

Here in Texas they have a Mormon Prom. Laurels and Priests from 13 stakes get together for a dance.

Bishop's challenge

Each year our ward has what we call the Bishop's challenge - eacho f the YW/YM groups get to come up with something for the bishopric to try to beat them with. This year the laurels came up with making a scary face.

The bishopric got to do Alyssa while the laurels did Christie (Alyssa's friend). The bishopric tried cheating and brought Graham in (they thought he would be easier to make ugly). They made Graham Shrek (do you think Shrek is ugly?) but then they got a great idea to make Alyssa a bearded woman. Just thought you'd like to see. The bishopric won this challenge hands down.
